Mercedes AMG F1 W04

When we see the upgrades Saturday and Sunday then we will know what's what.

Is it me or does Lewis Hamilton look more comfortable at Mercedes? Always seemed uptight at McLaren guessing its their philosophy, Lewis already quoted on how Mercedes have a better driver care mental and physical
Well i think Mclaren and Ferrari are to most conservative teams in F1, they have their personal code of behavior, dressing and similar things. You can see how much Hamilton and Raikkonen are more comfortable in Mercedes, respectively
Lotus. But Nazi metods dont work anymore in modern world, Mclaren and Ferrari numbers of titles in past couple of years telling you from that regime nothing good will turn out well.

That's a good point seems to me both teams suffocate their drivers piling so much pressure on them

Hamilton confirmed they were testing something new today. Just the strakes and camera mountings? Anyone else notice anything different?

Nevertheless, he said the Mercedes, which is being driven by Nico Rosberg and his ex-team-mate Lewis Hamilton this year, has looked strong throughout.

"I'd say one team that has been consistently quick on their runs is the Mercedes more than anyone else," he said.

another positive driver reaction, first hulkenberg and now button. Also i think rosberg slipped in a interview with sky. He was sort hinting that Mercedes are bringing a new front wing, rear wing and a new floor.
Irvine:"If you don't have a good car you can't win it, unless you are Michael or Senna. Lots of guys won in Adrian Newey's cars, big deal. Adrian is the real genius out there, there is Senna, there is Michael and there is Newey. They were the three great talents."

Could you show me where the Rosberh interview is where he said they'd have new front, rear wing and floor? When did this interview happen?

By the way, to add to what you said, Grosjean has also said Merc look quick: "In the wet, Mercedes is impressive; it was going very, very quick. Then in the dry, McLaren is quick, Ferrari we don't know today, but Red Bull will be quick, Mercedes should be alright - it's going to be tight. "

I was watching Sky Sports f1 hd. So i dont know if i cant get you the quote. But Rosberg first slipped saying that we're running the car the ''brim'' and then said maybe full. So that was his first slip. Mercedes did run on heavy fuel today (max). And then the reporter asked if Merc was bringing updates. He said FW, RW and floor are the parts that are normal to bring at the last days of testing. We will see tomorrow I guess if that is in fact true.

Grosjean,Hulkenberg and Button are positive about the car those are valuable opinions. I heard J.Herbert talking about Mercedes being hard on their tires, when i fact Mercedes (Ross and Rosberg) has come out and said tires aren't an issue anymore. J.Herbert should be replaced doesn't add anything, better add Eddie Jordan who occasionally brings scoops. Herbert is trying to be funny but he really isn't never brings news or talks rubbish.

Every single word is mind games.

The better you can make another drivers car seem during testing, the worse it looks on the driver if they don't get good results (i.e. Webber/Jenson).

And it works the other way too. The less decisively good performance wise your car looks in general, the better it looks when you get good results (Perez/Alonso).

The 'Petronas' logo positioning is definitely lower which tells me new sidepods. The exhaust exit looks as if it travels less than 20cm prior to coming in contact with the protective surrounding duct on the floor which ultimately leads to the diff sidewall. Not a bad solution I'd say.

And of course that dirty monkey seat has made its presence known again.

I missed Rosberg talking about the new parts, But Lewis today on The F1 Live testing on Sky said new Floor and Wings. so it looks pretty certain they will be bringing a fair bit for tomorrow and Sunday. I'd imagine they are fitting or already been fitted and waiting in the Garage right now. Cant wait to see tomorrow.
