Start practicing 'Kimi Baby'?AnthonyG wrote:I wonder what Rob Smedley might do.
I am expecting Mclaren to stick with the current line up due to sponsorship from Perez. Earliest we could find a driver change will be 2015, which coincide with Honda coming on board. Perhaps by then we might even see a Japanese driver.vinuneuro wrote:McLaren still hasn't signed Button, any speculation that what's going on at Ferrari might have some connection? I hope there's a good reason McLaren are taking so long. That they recognize their weak driver lineup. Taking Perez instead of Hulkenberg was foolish the first time around, here's their chance to right it at least partially if Ferrari don't grab him. Button's not any good for development, and he's certainly not one of the faster ones. And would be expensive compared to Hulkenberg. They might just be waiting in the background to see what shakes out with Ferrari.
I would've never have guessed Kimi going back to Ferrari (if that does happen), so I can't not see Alonso going back to McLaren either I suppose.Kimi back at McLaren would be wonderful too. It's very easy to improve upon Button/Perez.
If Kimi is mathematically out of contention, I don't think he minds. I seem to remember him giving up a win for his teammate in the closing races of 2008Sombrero wrote:Could you imagine a "Fernando, Kimi is faster than you..." towards the end of the 2014 season ? That would be something !
I´d think this really depends on Massas future as much as it depends on his family situation. You do´t easily move to other countries afte such a long time if you have kids and your family is happy where they are....leaves TR and possibly Sauber asAnthonyG wrote:I wonder what Rob Smedley might do.
He already done that @China'08.raymondu999 wrote:Sorry I read that wrong. I meant, if Kimi was told to move over (at a point when mathematically out of contention) then I think he wouldn't mind, provided he was out of mathematical contention.
Which is what I said, two posts before the post you quotedtimbo wrote:He already done that @China'08.raymondu999 wrote:Sorry I read that wrong.
