I guess that's a done deal, Hulk to Renault, Ocon probably his teammate.

Who does FI goes to Werlein? Nasr? Any others?

Mercedes pushed for Werlein to get a Force India seat but apparently they didn't rate him. Ocon seems to be top of there list incase they lost Hulk.

Will be interesting to see if Ocon ends up at Renault or FI.

    Don't worry mate! This will not happen. When Nasr was Williams test driver, they just add a small name ''Banco do Brasil'' on the rear of the car, as you can see below:

Back then he was splitting his money between the Williams test drive and Carlin in GP2, whatever team he does go in 2017 i expect a bigger sign.

Nico is officially a Renault driver.

Dont bet against Palmer to FIF1, there will be lots of frantic calls going on to keep him in F1 and FIF1 have been caught on the hop a bit.

Great move for Hulk and FI!!!!!!!!!!!! Both have nothing more to offer in partnership.
It’s a final opportunity for Hulk to make a mark in F1.I hope, Renault can offer car to showcase his potential. If not, don’t see him surviving F1 in next 2 years.
FI can position itself to employee Merc protégé and get some lucrative engine or technical deal. With host of changes in 2017, it’s critical to maintain at least 5th or 6th in constructor standing.

He's not horrible, but there are better options out there.

Personally I have nothing against Palmer, I mean we've seem virtually nothing of him this year. He obviously comes with some Money and FIF1 only have a few options left. I just dont think he should be ruled out yet.... he might even be reatined by Renault.

If it was completely my choice Kobayashi would be in at FIF1, but we can only dream.

Is Hulkenberg the right man to show the way for Renault? I mean, they are making it pretty clear that they are aiming for the top in the years to come, the Hulk has been around for years and hasn't really set the F1-world on fire. He's not bad but I thought Renault would try to snatch some of the top level guys, or even Grosjean (being french and all), but I'm sure they have it all figured out.

Not sure of the source but this guy seems pretty legit.
https://twitter.com/PFF1/status/786943286837665792 He seems to claim they're waiting for Stroll's 18th birthday (29 October) due to alcohol (Martini?) sponsorship.

Who exactly is gonna be frantically calling to save Palmer's F1 career?

Yes sounds legit, BOT to stay at Williams were the very latest rumors and Stroll was a given.

They probably wait, because it is a big birthday gift by his father. They will wrap the car and have an MTV show (Made F1). Stroll Jr. will then touch down on the Williams helipad and unwrap the car (just a franken car^^) while fireworks goes off.

That's probably the reason, however absurd it is:
- he's not driving for them this season so what's the problem?
- I would be worried to see 17 years and 11 months old driver next to Martini brand but 18 is perfectly OK. Madness.

If Force India gets someone decent and cars are comparable they should be beating Renault and Williams in WCC in '17 too.

Well his dad and other backers I assume. People don't put all of this effort in over a 15 year career to get to let it end after one season.

Every guy who doesn't have a contract is on this same boat, i don't think Jonathan Palmer swings that much power to influence a team.
