So . . . does this "rumor" presume that Alonso is not capable of developing a car? "Test drivers" are a thing of the past . . . No reason to presume Webber will retire after this season. Prey tell, from which planet did this rumor emanate?Hail22 wrote:Koboyashi? Apparently rumour is there looking at Schumacher/Webber to develop the car in 2013 and then focus on Guiterrez (GP2 driver for 2014 seat if Kubica isn't healed up by then).
Yeah I hope Schumacher sticks with Mercedes. No point investing three years of hard work to build up the car and then not reap the benefits.raymondu999 wrote:I honestly doubt Schumacher would make a Ferrari comeback
Schumi or Webber? Two out-of-prime dinosaurs no thank you.Hail22 wrote:Koboyashi? No thank you.Nando wrote: Frankly i think he´s wasting space at Ferrari. replace him with Bianchi, Kobayashi, Perez you name it, i doubt they would do a worse job then Massa.

He finished 4 seconds ahead.myurr wrote:I thought Alonso only won that race by a few seconds from Massa and had a fast lap a tenth or two quicker. That's hardly being so much quicker it was not funny.
Sure he was a bit quicker, and Massa had a bit of a problem with tyre warmup immediately after his stops, but Alonso wasn't dominant on that day by any means.
This was the reason Alonso said it was ridiculous. It was very obvious he had another level of speed that day compared to Massa.Goran2812 wrote:he was even so pissed he let massa have a gap of about 5 seconds i think and then wheeled him in just to prove he's faster...
Dinosaurs? Webber is currently outperforming the current two time world champion Vettel and Schumacher is showing great promise in qualifying. By what standard would you call them dinosaurs?Nando wrote:Schumi or Webber? Two out-of-prime dinosaurs no thank you.Hail22 wrote:Koboyashi? Give Kamui a car that is capable of wins and see him prevail.
That rumor might as well had contained Santa Claus and the tooth fairy as it would have held the same credibility.
Age-wise, bringing them into Ferrari first of all is laughable considering we have a 2-time world champion, arguably the best driver on the grid, in his prime to do just that.Maelstrom wrote:Dinosaurs? Because that is the reality. Just look at the numbers.MSC07-JCGX wrote:as for webber and button only outperforming team mate when they not on form how'd you come to that conclusion then?
Good drivers adapt to the circumstances though.MSC07-JCGX wrote:felipe is that slower than fernando but it looks really bad because of the car, in my opinion he needs to be more aggresive and have confidence but with a car like that with poor rear downforce.
Yes but that is largely because he´s slow from the beginning.MSC07-JCGX wrote:he's always testing parts using different strategy to help fernando, he's always 2 stopping in a race when it's better on 3, running longer to hold up the pack making his tyres bad.
