Nah there struggling for sure. Looks like a tescos shopping cart into certain corners. Wether they rectify it overnight remains to be scene. Mad max makes me laugh though. Hamilton would get battered if they got into a fight. Merc seem to be in a better place this weekend. Looks like the upgrades have improved the drivability. Race pace will be interesting between the top 4 teams

Red Bull legitimately looks to be struggling. Ferrari looks really, really solid both in race sims and quali sim. The SF-24 looks like such a joy to drive compared the RB20 here, especially over the kerbs.

RB will improve massively as they (almost) always do.

Currently it's giving Singapore 2023. Red Bull seems a lot worse than they usually do when they have an overnight recovery, especially with how much Max is complaining on the radio. They've only gone backwards since FP1.

I don't think it's going to be full Singapore 2023, but I really struggle to see how they will recover if they --- up their quali. Ferrari looks really, really good in race sims and if Max qualifies like p5 I don't see a way for him to get past, since Ferrari actually tends to have better tyre wear than Red Bull this season, so going long and overcutting a la 2022 isn't an option.

Red Bull car balance looks all over the place. I've never seen Verstappen going off this much before, especially not in FP.

Ferrari looks good, McLaren looks good. RB hard to gauge, definitely not dialed in the quali sims. Race pace difficult to judge, Max looked very heavy.

Red Bull looks unusually worried, Horner, Helmut and Max's race engineer for FP2 huddled talking, Horner walking around the car just staring at it. I'm sure they'll get better overnight though

Could it be their upgrades just made the car go backwards. In that case they have to roll it back. Advantage Ferrari and Mclaren.

i did average of both drivers for each team...dont know why but yea your right, Mclaren, Ferrari, Merc, Red Bull

Fuels loads and engine modes definitely coming into play here. No way Mercedes are as quick as the top 3

Given the race pace showed in fp2, whoever qualifies p1 has a good chance of winning as nobody is passing here.

They changed the setup of Max's car between sessions, doesn't seem to have made much difference.
Might be they can rectify it overnight or it might be a rare off weekend for RB.

Ferrari upgrades look like they are working as expected, McLaren look quick. And for a change Mercedes aren't chasing their tails. Just trundling around for some reason, getting in the way of other cars.

"No way" seems a bit of a stretch. It might be unlikely, but for the first time in a while it does seem as though the Mercs have hit the ground running with their upgrades and setup. The car looked very stable right from the jump, and quick.

Now that newey is leaving he locked the car and hid the key lol
