All this blather about who will be in what seat next year is just so much mental masturbation, imho. :wtf:
Quite the opposite, for me: 'Even if the red cars aren't fast, it will still be a joy to watch the battles between Kimi and Fred!'

Whilst Hulkenberg deserves that Lotus seat on pure merit, I am worried his lack of funds will lead to a lesser but more funded driver selected over him.

In many ways with Sauber struggling for money, and not many positions vacant, I just hope Hulky is on the grid next year.

So now what... we're waiting for Lotus to announce Felipe Masa? Imagine if they give him a superior car next year and he beats Alonso! That'll be fun,
The speed of Ayrton Senna.
The mind of Alain Prost.
The dedication of Michael Schumacher.
The determination of Alex Zanardi.

Forget RedBull all eyes on Ferrari. Fernando and Kimi will give Vettel a fight not to mention Hamilton will be giving input this time for next years car. So that said. 2014 looks exciting.

Ferrari looks strong now... Dam...

Exactamundo!

Even in a --- car, it'll be very entertaining to see which driver can drive the car beyond it's capabilities and put it where it shouldn't be. The competition is going to be awesome; don't even need the championships for me to watch this unfold.

Really? So if they were both driving Caterhams, you would still be enthralled? :wtf: I remember when Fred was pedaling a Minardi around the back of the field. BOR ing.......

Actually at times it was a fun to watch. It's just that TV director would rarely show him.

I remember when Fred was in Minardi because he was driving it like a Minardi had not been driven before. I was convinced from his first year in F1 that the guy would be world champ one day. And to answer your question, yes, I would pay to watch Kimi vs Alonso in Caterhams, and I'm sure it would be a spectacle worth watching.

Maybe a bit off topic now, but a lot of ppl were bashing munudeges for his comments about Marko vs Horner-Newey. There have been rumors about the 2 camps, here's a link.

I don't think there's ever been any doubt that Helmet plays games at red bull and Torro Rosso - munu has been making a lot of crap up tho which he simply has no evidence for and that why he has been jumped on.

He carries on like a team insider when he's clearly just speculating from the outside Iike the rest of us.

That's something different - it wasn't about driver choice, they always had silly battles for media attention, clearly seen during every winter test.

Edit:
Going back to hiring Raikkonen as a bit of political move by Montezemolo theory: Hulkenberg's management claims in AMUS that they had very advanced talks with Ferrari, contract close to signing in Hungary, two months of negotiations. Even if they are exaggerating a bit timelines fit. It was around that time, in Germany really, it turned out that Ferrari is slow again and won't be competitive in 2013 championship fight, and Red Bull was about it choose Ricciardo.

Boulier told ESPN: Few people - http://en.espnf1.com/lotusf1/motorsport ... 24869.html
Massa and Hulk fighting for pole. Given the late refusal from Ferrari to Hulk, I think Massa may be 0.3 seconds ahead... But let's see.
