Wouldn't wonder me if we don't hear anything of this power steering change ever again.“He’s getting better and better,” added Prost. “But still not completely at the top in my opinion. He knows that and we expect that [he’ll perform better at] the French Grand Prix, where it’s a different track, a wider circuit he knows well. So we’ll see, but I’m not surprised that it takes a little bit of time.”
I 100% see this a confirmation between the lines.-wkst- wrote: ↑17 Jun 2021, 14:04https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/arti ... w-4_fI7TSg
No he didn't. Not directly and also not between the lines.

I think after he gets new PS he will be faster than Ocon.-wkst- wrote: ↑18 Jun 2021, 07:38You WANT to see this as a confirmation, in reality that was just a standard phrase from Prost.
And oh wonder: no single word about it at the media day.
I hope for him he has or gets this new power steering, I don't believe however that this will magically change his driving (like many dream about).
Bottas has also beaten Lewis by more then 3 tenths... I'd wait until tomorrow Quali for representative comparison.
Alonso set purple S2 in FP2. Same old Alonso.

it is just amateur twitter account so i wouldn't take it serious
Possibly.. I’ve seen on AMUS Alpine think we are not as fast as Ferrari and because we installed our new engine and some other teams were still using old engines from Baku that will bring them 1.5 tenths closer today which would mean maybe one of our cars might make it into Q3. But yes let’s see today Friday was good but they need to take another step to stay where they were. Fingers crossed and all!diffuser wrote: ↑18 Jun 2021, 20:15
It doesn't count till it counts. Could just be a glorie run for the French fans.
In 2019 almost everyone was in the 1:31s-1:32 in FP2. This year The top 14 are mainly 1:33 with acouple of 1:32.8s.
Merc pushed low 1:28s in Quali in 2019. Could we be that far of the 2019 pace ?
