So we do have a Q3 car in quali, now need to see were we stand in race pace
umm, it’s the exact opposite. we’ve been top 3 in operations (strategy, pit stops, race reviews and appeals) since bernie left. one or two mishaps doesn’t make it “worst and worst”. moreover, the engineers have more data than us keyboard warriors; bar the top teams, all of them went for a single shot run.
he could’ve gotten p7 with fresh softs, but it doesn’t matter for a sprint race. antonelli was two and a half tenths away, and the delta between used and fresh softs is way higher.
I believe both used new Medium tyres. However, they both come out late in the session for 1 run only and did not have 2 warm up laps unlike some other teams.selvam_e2002 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2025, 14:08It seems used Medium yellow tyre for Alonso. Stroll ran with new Medium yellow in Q2 if I am not wrong.
