Riccardo and Sainz are better than Vettel

Amen...

Vettel is only good when the car suits his driving style And he simply can't handle stress...
Okey, then Hamilton would not be an option for you?

What does Hamilton got to do with this discussion ?? He's staying at Merc iirc...

ZERO chance VET joins Mclaren for all the reasons discussed above. Its going to come down to which one of RIC or SAI join Ferrari and the other one is in the Mclaren seat. The interesting dynamic here is that SAI has a lot of respect for ALO who he sees as his Spanish mentor....and I can't think ALO is whispering sweet nothings about Ferrari in his ear right now. At least partly because he probably wants that seat for himself...which also makes it interesting that ALO announced last week that his 2021 plans had "firmed up".

Why would RIC join Mcl insted of staying in Renault? Mcl would never give the same pay-check...

According to Australian media McLaren offered him 20 million in 2018, so it's not like McLaren is paying peanuts. I still believe McLaren needs a big name and not not two drivers who are good, but nobody knows how good.

If he believes Mclaren-Mercedes has a better chance of delivering victories than Renault

Well, I'm not saying it's true but I certainly wouldn't be surprised. Ricciardo was always McLaren's first option and looking at the comments made by Abiteboul it doesn't seem likely that Ricciardo will stay.

Norris had a decent rookie season, he has to put everything together, be more consistent with his driving.

Yeah, well it seems pretty certain that a big name will come next season, so it's going to be interesting to see how he holds up (if he can or wants to stay). The biggest problem that I have with last season is that I don't know how good Sainz is, maybe the car was even a few tenths quicker with a better driver who knows. The same goes for Norris. Vettel or Ricciardo are names that should be at McLaren.

Hmmm some reporting on Sainz to Ferrari set to be confirmed within the next 48hrs. They seem to be quoting the Italian version of Motorsport.com, they broke the Vettel news if I’m not mistaken.

Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

true, but RIC was the one going for the money although he was fully aware that Renault wouldn't be near what they are promised (as always)
RIC to McLaren good be a good thing although it will be hard to tell because nobody knows what the cars can/will do at 2022.

That is one of the reasons why Leclerc and Verstappen signed a long term contract at Ferrari and RB because they know the team and know what they are gonna do

I don't know if that's true. Rumors suggested that McLaren offered him $20 million per season. McLaren was terrible in 2018 so that clearly didn't help him, while Renault was improving rapidly.
