Is Krack still with the team or has he been fired some point after being sidelined?

Free air is the best setup around here, look at STR performance by being in clean air last 10 laps or so

Moved to Trackside engineer iirc. 8th quickest car this weekend. Even the haas that was way off the pace in Melbourne have been faster than us today

Bearman was at same strategy as Stroll. Aston was slow whole weekend and their reliability also a problem...

Poor strategy for Lance, but it was unpredictable for everyone.

Alonso isn't even on the official F-1 standings. Just 19 drivers on the list. Did he quit F-1?
For Sure!!

Just average Alonso luck.

After the first stint, I thought that Stroll would finish in the points because he would benefit from the better tyres and go full attack. Well, that was a very disappointing stint. Bearman pitted much earlier on the same tyres and displayed much better pace all the way to the end. Alarming.

We knew it was going to be like this. Why Newey or anyone else should waste time on the AMR25 car ?

Honda already testing Aston Martin's gearbox and fuel in Suzuka Japan as Aston Martin will have its own gearbox from 2026.

Team already working on 2026 car, then they will need to ship it to Japan for tests and then back again to Silverstone. All in coordination with Valvoline in the US. There is so much work to do.

For the AMR25, the goal is proving that they can manage to bring effective upgrades during the season. We will see during the year.

The AMR25 isn't as bad as people think, but this year the midfield is very compact. It is about finding the right operating window at each race/session.

So did debris or plastic wrap get caught in Alonso's brake duct work again?

That is what I mean. Car is not so far and with decent upgrade they should be p5 just behind the top teams that is the goal not more.

If they do so they will gain confidence in themselves and the tools etc that is needed for 26
