I don't even take the pole as the reference because that's an average of laps. The fastest lap of 2014 was done by Audi and was 42.5. Porsche did 39.5, so that's indeed 3s. However, it rained Saturday morning, which meant the track was green for qualifying. How much would a rubbered in track account for, 1 to even 2s? I agree , but I think they need to fill the grid with more LMPs etc and get rid of the Astons etc..the're just too slow , the speed differential is too high.
