It's not black magic, it's a rather simple effect from having a couple of almost vertical vanes strapped on either side of the crash structure, like every other team.

I think the most interesting bit there is you can see how the vortex generators just in front of those vertical diffuser/cs tabs work and help keep the upwash going to the rear wing.

The rearward segment of the underr-nose turning vanes is funny looking; it looks to me like a waiter's hand that is politely saying to the air to go "this way"
