Uhf it was lucky. One more lap and Norris would have been catched.
One more lap and he's 4th at best!

Aaah... these 1-2's feel so good... to think it could have been back to back 1-2's if not for rotten luck in Australia. Fantastic drive from Oscar, great job by Lando getting P2 at the start and reclaiming it after the undercut from Russell.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Actually it was the max. I dont think Norris could have catched Piastri.

It's great to win and get a 1 and 2. But, the race was a bit dull.

They should have used softer tyres. 40 plus laps and no real degradation is a real race killer.

Now that everything is over and my heart went back to it's rightful place I will make my comments. Fantastic Oscar Piastri for closing the door and defending his pole despite his not so perfect start. Even better start from Norris who closed the door to Max again as it should have done last year and passing Georgy boy immediately. Congratulations to both drivers and our car for that masterfull handling of our tyres considering how early we went to pit. Fantastic job by Lando handling those brakes and that is to try and prolong the problem appearing and he did such a good job to handle the problem till the end.

Also the car is not as dominant as people seem to think it is. The others were not that far back depending on conditions and I think our drivers are getting experience how to handle a championship battle.

50th 1-2 finish for Mclaren in F1, well done PIA controlled the race from start to finish, also great job by NOR who overtook RUS 2 times this race and survived at the end with apparent brake failure.

In terms of race pace, today we were at best 1 to 2 tents per lap faster than the competition so but this one is also very weird track as well.
So far soo good, I'm super happy, the rain in Australia prevented us having 1-2 there as well, so we are not that dominants as people said (yes RUS we all hear you) but over all super MEGA duper JOB by Mclaren.

Hey, when was the last time we won 3 races in a row, HAM & ALONSO in 2007 maybe?

Maybe, Oscar had time in the bag and averaged 2 tenths per lap faster. 2 tenths is probably fair if you say the clean air is the reason he had time in the bag.

One tenths a lap feels small i tjink.

They said 2012.

Great job by the team. I think we had more pace but they were cautious with the pace and strategy.

And our 1-2 was also a statement to the whole Flex Wing saga and it's pundits. Our wings were legal and we were still better.

Oh yes, 2012, one of the top 3 seasons in the last 25-30 years of F1

Thank you!

It was a RedBull driven drama anyway, now it backfired all eyes are on them from the media.
