Do you ever have anything positive to say? Every post of yours contains nothing but sour grapes, half baked conspiracy theories, and negativity towards Daniel!

How about acknowledging the positive influence that Daniel has had on both Yuki and the team? They have certainly made it clear that Daniel’s contributions have been significant and positive.

F1T is a forum that values facts, if you want to post wild claims, why not join the autosport forums?
redbull denied that there was political infighting before, but eventually the truth was revealed.the teams always give politically correct answers so anything they say should be taken with a grain of salt.f1 is about metrics so if we havent seen those magic numbers why should we believe anything Horner says.
It wasn’t just Horner, Marko was involved in the decision to bring Daniel back after the Silverstone test.
Marko said that Horner was right about De Vries, so I guess it was Horner's turn to make a decision after Marko and Verstappen suggested putting their hands in the pile of poop with De Vries. Alongside Ricciardo, the other candidates were Lawson and Mick Schumacher. If I remember correctly, it was Horner's idea to hire Ricciardo as a reserve driver, so essentially he is his man.

Today Liam Lawson is driving the RB20 on the Silverstone circuit during a filmingday, to see how he performs.

Lawson's Red Bull test: How it compares to decisive Ricciardo run
Jul 10, 2024

Liam Lawson is preparing for a first test in Red Bull’s 2024 Formula 1 car on Thursday that has drawn comparisons to Daniel Ricciardo’s decisive run last year, amid the prospect of another mid-season driver swap.

Whatever Lawson does in the RB20 outing, it will not be his last chance to impress before the end of the month.

Perez has two races to rectify his situation, or at least put his best foot forward, before the summer break.
Lawson’s test in the AlphaTauri AT03 is scheduled for the week after the Belgian Grand Prix, at Imola, so by the end of July,
Red Bull will have all the data required across Perez, Lawson and Ricciardo to make a decision.

And the timing is relevant given Lawson’s contract is believed to have a 2025 option on Red Bull’s side that expires in September -
so if it does not give him a race seat for next year by then, he will be a free agent.

Even though the video below was in the dry apparently the test was mainly in the wet and only running with promo tyres so not sure how much information they could gather in regards to performance comparisons. Good for him to get an opportunity in an RBR car though.

Thanks! This isn't good. :( I read it and I want to quote a few important sentences.
.
Debriefing the triple-header with Autosport, team principal Laurent Mekies admitted its Barcelona upgrades had actually made the VCARB01 slower and RB reverted to most of the old package, taking off its new floor.

The Barcelona package was intended to trade in some of RB's outstanding low-speed performance for better high-speed stability, which didn't translate into the real world. It also dealt with a fluttering new rear wing, but a temporary fix meant the more efficient wing could stay on.

"The big picture is that we had to reverse most of the Barcelona upgrade. Not all of it, but most of it, and unavoidably it cost us performance," Mekies explained.

"We were hoping to add performance compared to where we were in Canada and Monaco, and instead of that we have to backtrack.

"We certainly understand why we didn't go faster with it. There is some question over why it actually made us slower, because we think that's what it did.

"The beauty of these cars is that they are extremely complex. It's all down to the very last details and second order of things, stuff that we weren't looking at a few years ago.

"I would say we have a fairly clear idea of what we want for the next package. Are we 100% sure? No, absolutely not. It's a work in progress. It will take us some time."

Much like Ferrari lost over two months of in-season car development by having to take its updates back off the SF-24, Mekies pointed out RB's misfiring upgrades will continue to hurt the squad's performance over the medium-term as it feeds back its findings into the next upgrade package - one that won't arrive until after the summer break.

Is he with the Honda entourage instead of the Red Bull entourage? Didn't see him in the RB group photo. :(

That was the RBR group photo, not a Red Bull group photo.

Yuki never drove for RBR in the last 20 years what they were celebrating today with their (ex) drivers.

I am very glad Honda invited/asked Yuki to drive for them otherwise it was very strange/sad he wasn't there today.

I totally missed this, thanks! Yuki doing Honda proud. Probably also one of the few who can fit without much issue!

Here’s our Hungarian Grand Prixview!

Image Daniel Ricciardo #3

“The week after Silverstone has been great – some time to recover, to hit the gym and a simulator session, it’s been productive and I’m feeling ready for Budapest. Personally, I always enjoy coming here. I’ve won in Hungary before; it was my come back race with Scuderia AlphaTauri and somehow the sun is always out! As a team, we’re focused on finding the best performance on a very different circuit compared to Silverstone, much slower and hotter, having a strong FP1, and pushing forward to some points come Sunday.”

Image Yuki Tsunoda #22

“I spent time in the simulator last week and the team has been working very hard since Silverstone. I am optimistic that we can have a good weekend in Hungary. We know which direction we must take to find more performance from the car at the Hungaroring, where most corners are slow to medium speed. It’s always very hot in Budapest at this time of year and the track gives you no time to pause for breath as you are always turning the wheel. It means it’s going to be a physically tough weekend, but I expect we can be competitive at this track, so I’m ready for it!”

Image Alan Permane (Racing Director)

“The circuit in Budapest, with its predominantly low and medium speed corners, returns us to a high downforce configuration for the race cars. It’s a demanding layout not only for the car and driver but also for the tyres. Pirelli will bring the softest compounds in their range and one of the challenges will be to extract all the grip from the C5 (soft) in qualifying and to keep this grip for all 14 corners in track temperatures that can reach over 50 degrees Celsius. The car setup will need to have a good front end for the long, low-speed corners, sharp changes in direction for the twisty middle sector, and excellent traction for the last two corners to push the car onto the start-finish straight and complete the lap.”
