The corners look tight from the safety car. This track looks like the redbull may make a lot of time in the esses.
I can see them flying through those where no one else can follow. Could be one of those weekends where Lewis just has to shrug his shoulders and accept a P-2.
I don't think the track is narrow though, the camera is just high on the car, given the impression its narrow.
Did you watch Qatar? Nothing about this track says Lewis accepting a P2 behind Max.
Exactly- he can't accept a P2 either unless (unlikely) there turns out to be a genuine pace disparity in RBR's favour so he's got to go for it and finish ahead to avoid the title being out of his hands in Abu Dhabi. But then Verstappen also knows this, and he also knows should he find himself marginally ahead in a tight race that he can afford to go 'full max' with his defence of a position or a corner like those two occasions in Brazil. BUT I also think the stewards really aren't going to be so lenient on him if he does that again. BUT if merely a five second penalty is to be handed out, it's no deterrent at all as he's odds on to at least finish second or third assuming both cars sustain no damage.
Really I just hope there isn't a coming together at the first corner (or at all) should they be side by side. I want HONOURABLE driving from both of them. I've neglected to use the word 'fair', as there seem to be several different interpretations of that depending on who uses it and in what situation...
