Red bull probably shake down the rb21 at Silverstone in the coming days, perhaps tomorrow

They're booked for a full film day at Bahrain later this month but I'm expecting them to use the demo day at Silverstone as usual, from which we usually gather spy shots
Indeed makes no sense to do a shakedown in Bahrein, so far from the home base.
so was the shakedown canceled? do we know why?
If they wait until after the livery launch tomorrow then they can do the demo day/shakedown without using a camo livery like Williams/McLaren, but it's also very possible they simply are not doing the Silverstone shakedown this year

Silverstone can be a Demo event (max. 15km), and in Bahrain the filming day (max. 200km)

Max arrived this afternoon at London, Luton Airport so he has tomorrow the whole day to run 15 km at Silverstone.
Why would he otherwise already be in London today? I think it will take place tomorrow.

Yes, that too but Max is always late for everything.
Why would he be in Londen at 5 PM CET on Monday when the launch event starts Tuesday at 9 PM CET ?!

When he has to be at the factory for the sim he is always on Thursdays at 9.00 AM GMT at Cranfield Airport. Not the day/evening before.
So there must be a reason to be there so early. I hope it is for the short shakedown as Thomas Maher said a few weeks ago.

Unless it’s changed recently, teams are allowed two filming days per year

While a demonstration run is limited to just 15 km, a filming day allows a driver to do 200 km of running.

Only two of each of these events is allowed per driver per year, with a demo run typically saved to shake down a car before testing and give partners the chance to film the cars for their own promotional material.

Wasn’t that the new car they showed yesterday?? It definitely wasn’t the RB20…the nose is totally different!

I might be wrong, but I think it was a showcar and not any specific model. Perhaps the nose is indicative of the RB21, but I don't think that was the RB21.

Surely they'd have made a big deal of it if so, at least on social media?

Hands up who was actually expecting Red Bull to change the livery this year after Max's comments about wanting to see something different?

🙋🏻‍♂️

Ah well, as the cliché goes: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I kind of expected they will tweak it, but on the other hand it's so easy to identify the RBR-car on screen, on pictures because everybody is used to that color scheme.

And why change the livery this year....I'd say 2026 is really a new era for RBR, where a tweaked livery makes most sense.
