If they wait until after the livery launch tomorrow then they can do the demo day/shakedown without using a camo livery like Williams/McLaren, but it's also very possible they simply are not doing the Silverstone shakedown this year

Silverstone can be a Demo event (max. 15km), and in Bahrain the filming day (max. 200km)
.

Max arrived this afternoon at London, Luton Airport so he has tomorrow the whole day to run 15 km at Silverstone.
Why would he otherwise already be in London today? I think it will take place tomorrow.

Unless it’s changed recently, teams are allowed two filming days per yearlio007 wrote: ↑17 Feb 2025, 22:01Silverstone can be a Demo event (max. 15km), and in Bahrain the filming day (max. 200km)

While a demonstration run is limited to just 15 km, a filming day allows a driver to do 200 km of running.
Only two of each of these events is allowed per driver per year, with a demo run typically saved to shake down a car before testing and give partners the chance to film the cars for their own promotional material.
I might be wrong, but I think it was a showcar and not any specific model. Perhaps the nose is indicative of the RB21, but I don't think that was the RB21.McLarenHonda wrote: ↑19 Feb 2025, 10:43Wasn’t that the new car they showed yesterday?? It definitely wasn’t the RB20…the nose is totally different!
I kind of expected they will tweak it, but on the other hand it's so easy to identify the RBR-car on screen, on pictures because everybody is used to that color scheme.WardenOfTheNorth wrote: ↑19 Feb 2025, 10:54Hands up who was actually expecting Red Bull to change the livery this year after Max's comments about wanting to see something different?
Ah well, as the cliché goes: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
