T1-3 was abysmal in all honesty. Perhaps a difference in tyre prep, hency why LEC was able to chip away in S2-S3. The car looked fine in all the other traction zones.

Even looking at the long runs the deficit is much lower through S1.
Yeah, there is a lot of room for improvement. It makes sense.

I find it interesting that RBR seem to have settled on a S-S-H (used a 1 of the 2 remaining H in FP3) strategy as they did last year. VER also didn't seem very pleased on the H in FP3, obviously with the usual disclaimers there.

I think it might be a good idea to try and race VER, if they are able to push him into degradation on the S, they might force the strategy in favour of the S-H-H which seems to be the more agreed upon strategy. Execution will be key though, no gaps are so tight there will be no margin for error.
We could undercut if we don't lose too much time, considering we have 2 sets of H.
Even with traffic, the new tyres will provide a massive delta compared to the others, so overtaking should be quite easy

Is there anywhere to see what tires teams have left for the GP or the usage during Quali? Or do we have to wait for Pirelli tomorrow?

Based on the high speed corners Jeddah should really favour the sf24? Last year was an absoloute nightmare for the 23 With no stability whatsoever.

Spa, Silverstone, Suzuka in theory would be strong circuits for this car?
These GP are so far away. We don't know what the development race will yield.
Suzuka isn't far away, and Jeddah is the next race. These two are high speed and I believe they should suit the Ferrari we saw tonight

How a track "suits" you can only be confirmed relative to competitors. Mclaren and Rb might have upgrades in Japan that could shift the order again.

On F1 Nation podcast, TC said that when he saw Newey that Newey told him that there is a big package coming for R7 which is I think Imola, a big upgrade where bodywork will receive big changes

Ferrari is proving they still probably have the second best design+engineer team on the grid. 2022 already kind of proved that, but even after getting shafted by the regs, they are demonstrating they can get a completely different concept working better than basically everybody else except Newey/RB. Obviously they still have weaknesses, and we've yet to see demonstrable race pace, but even still, there should be no denying that the team back at the factory is excellent and deserves huge kudos.

With the cold temps there is possibility that Hard become a lot worse than soft tyres in race. Remains to be seen what everyone will use

Weather currently looking to be similar to FP2. 17-19C ambient with mostly clear evenings. I don't think there will be any surprises in terms of the weather conditions.

No one near the front ran the hard tire in FP2 so there could still be surprises if it's too cold for that tire.
Ah but they did in testind day 3 if that makes you feel better. Daily high of 23C with a 19C low in the evening. Pretty much identical weather. It's a desert the weather is fairly consistent. Biggest worry is the wind.

Not a fan of surprises?

I agree, I checked, and temperatures will be comparable.
