It’s not just the PU otherwise every team running it would be in much better shape.
The other worrying thing is how much race pace they have been hiding. All good and well for Charles and Lewis to take 1/2 at the start. Russell will pass them in less than 2 laps.rifrafs2kees wrote: ↑07 Mar 2026, 04:58I think it's Merc's pole to lose. Lewis found the 6/10th gap to Russell shocking on his radio. Maybe the Ferrari's will have a better start and maul them into turn 1 on Sunday.
Sky was told by Mclaren and Ferrari that it's 1 second a lap in race trim.Jdn1327 wrote: ↑07 Mar 2026, 05:05The other worrying thing is how much race pace they have been hiding. Well IMHO Russell is no match for Charles wheel to wheel. So let's hope his inexperience in a championship battle shows itself. I'm sure Ferrari will cut that gap down.AR3-GP wrote: ↑07 Mar 2026, 05:06Sky was told by Mclaren and Ferrari that it's 1 second a lap in race trim.Jdn1327 wrote: ↑07 Mar 2026, 05:05The other worrying thing is how much race pace they have been hiding. With that pace difference, any car would be a sitting duck. You don't need wheel to wheel racing. Merc can overtake with pit stop strategy anytime. When did George get a chance to fight wheel to wheel as he never had a car for that. When he had a winning car, he got clean victories from pole to win. Limited wheel to wheel he has had, he has done wonderfully well. You just need to go back and check some videos.Jdn1327 wrote: ↑07 Mar 2026, 05:08Well IMHO Russell is no match for Charles wheel to wheel.
