There are claims made in this article that red bull will have mechanical tweaks at Jeddah to improve management of tyre energy

I don't put much weight behind it yet
unfortunately that site is HIGHLY unreliable so I would take that claim with a very very very big grain of salt.organic wrote: ↑08 Apr 2025, 17:33There are claims made in this article that red bull will have mechanical tweaks at Jeddah to improve management of tyre energy

Obviously the main course will be the new floor (with possibly wider package) in Imola.organic wrote: ↑08 Apr 2025, 17:33There are claims made in this article that red bull will have mechanical tweaks at Jeddah to improve management of tyre energy

Max looks ahead to Bahrain GP: 'I think it will be a tough race for us'
Published on 08 April 2025 by Niels Hendrix
Max Verstappen won the Japanese Grand Prix from pole position. The world champion reflects: “To win in Japan was an amazing moment for the team and a perfect send off for Honda, who we have had such a great relationship and a lot of success with over the years. It is amazing to have four wins in a row there and was a great start to the triple header. It was a good boost for the team and now we can hopefully go into this week with a bit more confidence.”
Looking ahead to the Bahrain Grand Prix in Sakhir, Max says: “Bahrain is typically somewhere where we have gone well: the track is very technical and of course it is under night race conditions which is a bit different. It is going to be hot and think it will be a tough race for us. There are still things to improve on the car: we are still working on our tyre management and lacking some pace so we will just need to work hard and constantly push the car to the limit. However, I do always enjoy going there so looking forward to seeing what this week brings and hopefully we can maximise the performance of the car as best we can.”
I'm not sure why do you think that's implied?
The first floor was from Bahrain pre-season Friday. The new floor is for Rd 7. The car is slow. They want to become faster. They will have to update the floor.
Old floor was introduced in pre-season testing end of February, while the upgrade will come in May, 7 races into the season. This seems pretty standard to me.Rikhart wrote: ↑08 Apr 2025, 23:14Because of how new the previous one is, it's 3 races old, it was introduced in the last day of testing.
