The new wind tunnel was never used on the 2025 car. A lot could turn around next season. Not sure if Andy Cowell is BSing the media, but he feels the new wind tunnel is a huge improvement over the one in Brackley.
It's a huge improvement in terms of efficiency, as it is in house and useable whenever they want (or have time left).
But let's not fool ourselves, the Mercedes wind tunnel is very solid, Mercedes finishes on the podium regularly. It's AMR and their guys who are obviously not able to do a job at the same level.
The new wind tunnel is just a tool, it still needs people (for ideas and knowledge) to build a fast car.
