But he was the team boss at STR, so one might wonder if his opinion on Red Bull activity is entirely unbiased. I think that's the point that's being made.gilgen wrote:Note that the criticism was about Berger, who is NOT the team boss at STR. Tost is the team boss. It seems so, really. Looks like he has a tough time staying at Ferrari...JimClarkFan wrote:Fernando Alonso looks like he has given up the fight.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone at the end of this season.
I don't want to say Maldonado has no talent, but compared to Nico he has nothing except for the money he brings. That's all.Jonnycraig wrote:Boullier tells BBC it's Hulkenberg or Maldonado. He wants a driver purely on talent but may have to take some funding.
Boullier said they are trying to plan a 5 year strategy and sounded a bit pessimistic about picking purely on talent which IMO sounded like softly admitting it will be Maldonado.stefan_ wrote:I hope Lotus will have a clear mind taking the decision and will sign Hulkenberg. Maldonado is a liability and it doesn't help much if he comes with some money that are used to repair damaged cars.
Would really be a shame.Jonnycraig wrote: Boullier said they are trying to plan a 5 year strategy and sounded a bit pessimistic about picking purely on talent which IMO sounded like softly admitting it will be Maldonado.
He's just been thoroughly out driven by his rookie teammate.raymondu999 wrote:I actually think Maldonado has matured quite a bit now. He hasn't binned the car that often this year
Not sure the points say that.Jonnycraig wrote:He's just been thoroughly out driven by his rookie teammate.raymondu999 wrote:I actually think Maldonado has matured quite a bit now. He hasn't binned the car that often this year
Didn't Bouiller say during the week that he was basically not remotely interested in hiring rookies anymore. He did say that if he did go for a rookie, it would be Valsecchi, but that it wasn't going to happen.Morteza wrote:I don't want to say Maldonado has no talent, but compared to Nico he has nothing except for the money he brings. A little bit off topic, but what about Davide Valsecchi? Is there any chance he will be an F1 driver anytime soon?
