From what I gather from Paul's interviews, he seems like the smart guy that thinks he knows everything.. You just want to punch him in the face.

I would disagree about his interviews. To me he just seems like he's well spoken, good at communicating what he wants to say, and knows enough about his sport to know what is actually going on in his car.

Some other drivers, you kind of get the impression that they haven't got a clue what is going on, but their car is "faste on the fast bits" and "slow on the slow bits".

I'm looking at you Grosjean / Maldonado.

Of the two, I think that Hulkenburg is more exciting to watch - when he's in the thick of it, you get the impression that he will battle that much harder than Di Resta will - I've seen a bit in the past, Di Resta gets passed too easily by others.
Yer.

Not sure what you mean?

2 years - Liuzzi, Speed, Vettel, Bourdais, (Speed 1,5 years after his second year he retired the car 7 out of 10 times)
3 years - Buemi, Alguersuari

Ricciardo, Vergne, in their first year with at least a year more of running.

Traits of a champions gene.
There's demanding, and then there's being an arse. Let's not confuse the two here. It's possible to be demanding without being an arse.
Schumacher has come of as being an arrogant arse throughout his career.
Hamilton as well, remember last time he raged the whole team by posting telemetry data.

Senna was considered by many throughout his career to be an arse.
To me it seems Di Resta knows what he wants and isn´t afraid to speak his mind. Just like it should be.

"harder to work with" i would like to know how you flip that to being an arse and not simply demanding to work with.
Maybe there´s some personal animosity that fuels it...

I guess my point is they seem to have gone through more drivers than any other team.

Yea it might look like that but they have only had one more driver then Mclaren.

2006 - present - De La Rosa, Montoya, Raikkönen, Hamilton, Alonso, Kovalainen, Button

Having met him and attempted to chat with him when he was in a non pressured environment I can see where they are coming from..

I think Paul has done a great job so far in F1 but I view him more as a great teammate like Coultard than a F1 champion. I do hope Paul can prove me wrong in the future, he can be consistent but I don't see the flashes of pure genious that Hulkenburg displays at random moments. If you want a champion then take a gamble and hope that Hulk can start to deliver every race. If you just need constructor cash then Paul is a shoe in.
I agree, I think Hulkenburg has something special. Talent up there with the best in the paddock, perhaps even the most although that remains to be seen. His pole lap in Brazil was outstanding.
