actually the protest in thailand was many times bigger than bahrain. even the international airport was shut down for almost a week, and many tourists were trap inside the country.
The question is of course, and this goes for all "problem" races, what is the point the protesters are trying to make, F1 is a thankful platform, and just because you protest doesn't mean you have a point.
F1 is not the right tool to make political changes, so I think safety of the crew is the first priority, if they can't guaranty that, it's a no go.
Just one more thing CHT, regarding the closed thread, I'm Italian, i have learned to respect everybody regardless skin colour, religion or lifestyle, so please don't generalise, every country has its fair share of idiots, let's leave it at that, thread wasn't closed for nothing.
