Yes, later on. Although I'd have to say having the right degree was (probably) still getting me interviews (although I have some extra curricular activities that also help) in my late thirties. The thing is if you have a good degree from a respected uni you'll get the crucial first job more easily.

I have been told that Southampton has strong links to F1 in aerodynamics field, probably the best option among these three. Von Karman is seen as the theoretical version of aerodynamics, more focus on PhD and research, while Cranfield has a good reputation overall.Is that right?Could anybody confirm this theory?
