That just wouldn't make any sense. If he still had both Kimi and Montoya under contract, he would have kept hush about FA coming in.
We will find out the truth soon enough, so no reason wasting time and words debating this. Boards such as Autosport.com are meant for the fanboy feuds. And the results are obvious over there (500 post long threads about whether a driver made a mistake or not etc.)
Fanboy feuds? No. A discussion. You have an opinion which I respect but disagree with and you disagree with mine thats what a forum is about. A difference of opinion and a feud are 2 completely different things.

As for having 2 great drivers under contract. Yes I agree but why then did he (RD) not take up the option he had on JPM?

Long experience has taught me this about the status of mankind with regards to matters requiring thought. The less people know and understand about them, the more positively they attempt to argue concerning them; while on the other hand, to know and understand a multitude of things renders men cautious in passing judgement upon anything new. - Galileo..

See this is where your opinion differs from the general feel on the field (the general consensus).
I do not wish to argue with you over such a silly matter so I wont comment anymore, but the general belief is that FA was signed exactly because Kimi is leaving. Ron Dennis wouldn't have dealt his team a death blow by signing a driver with two great drivers still on contract to his team, and then announcing it a year in advance! That just wouldn't make any sense. If he still had both Kimi and Montoya under contract, he would have kept hush about FA coming in.

The general consensus?? Before the signing of FA nobody talkless of general consesus would have believed it. Yet it happened! I do not believe KR has signed with anybody, but as you say let's wait and see!

I am quite willing to conceed if proved wrong and it hoped so would you!

I was trying to avoid exactly this. There's no need to get all worked up about something like this, ease off on the exclamation(!!!) marks. :? Make it seem like you're angry...

All I'm saying is that there have been strong rumours of Kimi leaving for over a year now, with ferrari in particular being tossed around a lot. Those rumours weren't cooled down by Todt and Brawn praising Kimi. Saying he's the man they would go for if they had a choice, among other quotes.
Then Ron Dennis making statements advising Kimi not to leave, because Mclaren could win the championship in the future, so he should just sit tight.
Then all of a sudden there come's this hostility from within Mclaren towards Kimi. Just like he would be leaving the team.

Ï'm willing to hear your reasoning as to why Mclaren would not want to keep Kimi. As a statement that sounds pretty insane, but you seem convinced so perhaps you can convince me too?
