As a company, Honda have always been proud of their heritage and their museum maintains all their old racers in running condition. The only cars they don't have are the original RA302 (destroyed in Schlesser's fatal crash) and one of the RA301s, which was retained by John Surtees.

Here's a list of the old racers in their museum, including the original Cooper-Honda test hack, a Brabham-Honda F2 and many more ....

A Benetton B198 was lapping in the street-track last TC2000 race in Punta Del Este, Uruguay. Dont know who it was...

You would have to find a good mechanic unless you are one yourself.
He would have to come from a small handful of people.

In the early 80s, there was this gentleman from Switzerland who managed to register a Porsche 917K in Alabama(!), saw a picture with plates and all.
Only modification was a muffler as I can recall.

I saw a 1972 Ferrari 312B2 on sale. Curious i contacted the guy. Said it would cost me 1 million british pounds !!!!!!!!!! :shock:
Said he had the Ferrari classiche Certificate of Authenticity, as well as FIA papers blah blah blah.......
