and the veg industry finances documentaries to promote lies to the public.
Vegan industry doesn't exist, so it can't finance anything. Meat, dairy and egg industry make hundreds of billions each year, and are completely incorporated into establishment, protected by laws, financed and supported from budget, have politicians and media in their back pocket... but despite all that they can't stop the truth from coming out.
Hamilton's statement has knocked out them so hard that their stocks will fall, and they'll be forced to shut down even more farms and slaughterhouses. https://youtu.be/spV6dK3btWc
so no vegetable industry, how is commercial veg farming funded? We should never allow ourselves to be influenced, do what ever is best for you and know that you will die someday.

Before "what the health" came out, I met up with Kip Anderson, the maker, at the primatial tour for Cowspiracy (even before it became hot true Leonaro DiCaprio) and It's all self financed. If you watch the documentary, it are actually the meat producers who say "we can't sustain this model".
Just think of it, besides the health, the CO2, methane, oil, meat production is a very inefficient way to make food. It takes around 7-10 kg of vegetables and beans to produce 1 kg of beef (and around 3000-5000 liters of fresh water).
If we would stop with the livestock industry, no more meat, no milk, etc we would instantly provide more then enough food for 7 times the world population, have enough oil and biofuels for forever and we don't have to cut anymore rainforest down.
free range, bio, eco etc etc meat is worse for the environment then mega indoor farms by the way, because it's even more inefficient (and worse for your health because the additional antibiotics they need for roaming outside)
but I must say, when I was still eating meat.... god it tasted good....

the veg industry's largest customer is the meat industry. I think the figure is that around 90 procent of all produces veggies is supplied to livestock. They have the most to loose. Funny enough the meat industry is investing a lot into meat substitutes and alternative food. Most of the mayor brands are part of a larger brand.

Yes, it just tastes so good, where I'm from cattle is fed on grass, and maze, if we don't have them we would need to somehow control the grass. growing maze actually consumes CO2 from atmosphere. yes cows do fart methane but so do humans ( strangely I found that a veg diet greatly increases my flatulence ) and most anamals, but swamps still release a lot more.

come to think of it, The Merc PU might be using methane to get more hydrocarbons in the combustion chamber and thereby increasing the power. the FIA needs to see if there is a hose running from Lewis' seat to the engine

We evolved to eat fruit and small amounts of meat/bone marrow so it's perfectly reasonable to be a proper vegan and see benefits. That said if you don't eat the right things you'll be pretty unwell from toxin buildup and such. Good for him I guess

If we evolved to eat both plant matter and animal matter then the reasonable course of action is to eat plant matter and animal matter. The problems we have are not down to eating meat but from not eating a balanced diet. We also have the issue of people being both malnourished and obese at the same time. If you just eat lots of Big Macs and soda then you're going to be fat and unhealthy.
I enjoy eating meat but I also have meat free recipes that I enjoy greatly. I'm happy for people to be vegan if they choose. I'm happy for people to eat meat if they choose. I'd like them to eat high welfare meat if they can afford to.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
I think I understand where the hype comes from, but it grows even more when there are reports of animal cruelty on how cows, pigs, chickens are slaughtered. A lot of people who have turned vegan or vegetarian have done so, because of that. But there's a lot of people saying we shouldn't slaughter animals at all, because it's bad. Then I start to think, our great great great ancestors centuries ago, lived off hunting animals as well, so I wonder if they should have been vegetarians and vegans instead??? Of course not...
I'm not sure if it's because of my Chinese background, but I've grown up knowing that I always finish my plate of food, knowing that there's a lot of people out there who can't afford the food generally. Each meal I have always consist of veggies, meat, fish and medicinal soup. That's maybe a well balanced kind of meal/diet. The thing is, I eat a lot and I mean really a lot, but I hardly gain any weight because of that. Maybe it's an asian thing as well eating so much, but so far I have gained 2KG over the last summer, which in no way a sign of needing a strict diet. I have done s*** this summer regarding fitness and sports. So I should gain weight a lot normally, but I did not.
Not sure if it's just because how I am or if the variety in each meal has anything to do with that.

For Asian people anything that can be digested is fair game lol. I have no problem with this mentality as you say it brings a lot of variety and In a case of survival knowledge of different meats is an advantage.
Most doctors recommend a balanced diet, whether people get the protein etc from meat or from other sources, the most important thing is that the diet is balanced.
I do think it's harder to get all the nutrients we need from a fully vegan diet, but a professional athlete like Lewis should have no problem with that.
Now, as with most healthcare professionals, I shall completely ignore my own advice and tuck into this cheese feast pizza.

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻♂️

Yeah I get that.
I'm very open minded towards food. I think there's almost no such thing as food I don't like. So I'm no fussy eater anyways.
Well I'm not sure how people interpret the word 'diet':
- Some would say cutting the amount of consumption
- Some would saying no to certain ingredients
To me 'diet' is just the balance of having all the things a human body needs and I'm not looking at pure basic ingredients, but the more general like veggies-meat-fish-fruit-grains.
