probably quicker than Latifi
"probably"???

I think you meant "DEFINITELY" =D>
I do wonder if Latifi is getting the same treatment as Kubica in 2019 and he's doing a decent job but Russell is just extracting the absolute maximum from the car. I suppose there's no way of knowing for sure, but Russell's stint in the Mercedes would seem to indicate he really is just that good.

Pretty excited for Williams, the new rear end is going to give them like half a second of lap time.

Mercedes gear box & hydraulics coming in ‘22 so the team can use the resources elsewhere

They are not taking any other Mercedes parts, they want to remain a constructor not a customer like Haas & AM so will continue to build their own suspension

That said, the new ‘22 regs requires a complete redesign of the suspension system to work with the low profile tyres, also hydraulic suspension systems are banned and teams are only allowed to use basic springs & dampers set-up so Mercs supersystem will be a relic of the past

For Williams sake I hope this is not true. That company just did not seem at all trustworthy to me.
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

These current cars are just so freaking big and heavy! It's tough to make them look sporty with paint. Look at the wheelbase on the Williams photo above!

Rumours are increasing that Rich Energy is returning with Williams in F1.
I'm still reserved about this, but there's some odd things going on.

this article claims Williams denied any talks with Haas.

https://formula1news.co.uk/f1-teams-den ... ch-energy/
Williams told Formula1News.co.uk that they “have had no communication with Rich Energy at all and are not in any discussion regarding a potential sponsorship.”
Funny enough though, this little gem has popped up:

https://twitter.com/RichWilliamsF1

Storey or some lonely loser in a basement trolling?
I can't see why there would be a 'New' page instead of using the existing Williams page.

It does however feed rumours, as does this:

https://beyondtheflag.com/2021/02/09/fo ... naissance/

meanwhile, Storey has a taste for being distasteful and living in his own alternate universe though.

I would be very surprised if it turns out to come through. With Williams still in hands of Claire, I would have thought it possible due to her desperate for cash and ill decisions. With the new owners and recently Toto Claiming more involvement/partnership i honestly doubt this to the fullest.

I'd be inclined to believe people are getting confused due to the name of Storey, which is after all, William.
William's Rich Energy in F1.

Perhaps bad Santa IS going to have some sort of involvement in F1, with the help of Bernie (who is trying to get some control back?), in sponsoring something.
Perhaps instead of an F1 team, there's a concideration of sponsoring the rumoured saturday sprint races.
For example, there could be a 'Rich Energy Silverstone Sprint Race Cup'.

And as such, Rich Energy sponsors that Sprint race, gets exposure, and from that money, teams get compensated for the additional costs, and there can be more sponsors in F1.

just a thought.

First image of the new team kit. No sign of any energy drink logos, thankfully.

This is clearly a photoshop since Rexona no longer sponsors Williams and SOFINA does instead? unless the image is just supposed to be a mockup...
Either way, I really hope for Williams' sake that this is not true. I'm certain the RICH return is going to be a title RACE sponsorship at a Bernie owned track/race (Brazil?) rather than a team partnership -- this way, Rich doesn't have to deal with competing with Red Bull directly on track

I believe the photo was taken a couple of years back before they signed with Haas as they were rumoured to be signing with Williams then!
