Well, Jochen Rindt had a terrible weekend on Monaco 1970. He started in a hopeless grid position (8th or something) and at the middle of the race he was about 5th. Then, some cars failed (Stewart?). Jack Brabham got the lead with some advantage. Rindt started to catch up.
Last lap arrived: Rindt finally caught Brabham.
They go nose to tail and then, under stress, the catastrophe: Brabham goes head first into a bale of hay (no chickens flew, but you can imagine) and Rindt overtakes him to win. Not only was Brabham stuck miserably, but a steward fell on his car, trying to push him. Brabham had to go into reverse to avoid the push (and the disqualification) and then, brake to "throw" the steward to the floor and avoid the ignominy of having to cross the finish line with a "ran over marshal" on top of the car...
