Today I wrote:

"You had no excuse to close thread in the time while Chinese GP organizer is killing and starving out people. That's not about politics but about F1 GP organizer (Chinese communist party which controls everything from Chinese F1 GP to army that kills and starves Tibetans as we speak)."

That gets deleted from the rest of the post. Why? Why is that irrelevant to Chinese F1 GP?

Isn't that going on in Tibet? Isn't communist party controlling every aspect of life and all events in China as well as F1 GP? Isn't communist party controlling the army and police too?

...
You'll never see me again here.

All the best to decent people!
I haven't removed anything about your tibet statement, but rather your repeated questioning of my act to close your previous Chinese GP tread. I believe it was pointless, and look what this thread has turned out to be... right  It only proves my point. I am aware it was initially related to F1, but it isn't anymore.

Everyone is free to come and go here as they like, we do our very best to give you all some valuable content. If you don't like it, that is a pity and I do appreciate some feedback in that case. But please don't kick back about it. If you have a problem with me or anyone of the team here, send a PM.

My suggestion is to have this thread totally removed from this Forum. This is not just "Off topic chat" but "Off forum Politics". This politcal discussion belongs on another forum. Not here. :(

The Chinese don't care about the views of Western govts...they are hardly going to care about a forum!

Manchild, get your head out of your ass and accept that there is precious little we can do about it, for now. It's wrong - we all agree - but there are ways to channel your obvious energy for the situation. F1T isn't one. I'd suggest a nice letter to the FIA, FOM and team chiefs would be far more effective at getting your point across to them.

It's so curious that someone whose country dominates under an iron fist 3 other nations is only worried about the fact that the Chinese are trying to keep the Tibet to themselves. It's so confortable to worry only about what happens in the other side of the globe and we can't do anything for it, right?

At least women are treated fairly equally in the PRC. Not so in Bahrain, where they also have a GP. Women are still treated there as second class citizens.

I have no sympathy for the chi-coms though. The population participated in a violent uprising and voluntarily installed a despotic, marxist-fascist, kleptocracy. They got exactly what they asked for. Sic semper tyrannis

I personally boycott all hypocritical, nanny-state, socialist governments. Whether it's Sweden, Canada or Venezuela. Limited government and free markets! =D>
