Light always light.

Easier to brake, easier to accelerate. Faster with less power. More efficient in every aspect.

I bet a 500Kg and 550HP F1 car would be competitive against 605Kg and 700HP.

Just look at ALMS with the P1 vs P2 car last year. 700+bhp, 900kg diesel R10 runs evenly with the 750(or 775)KG Porsche and Acura with ~500+bhp. Only at tracks like Le Mans where top speed came into play the P2 really suffers...

After seeing the first race of the year, i have came to the conclusion that there is a compeditive advantage of running KERS, but on the Ferarri cars it looks to be if that was the problem.

BUT.. Id like to see s small increase in weight for KERS cars to 625kg, simply because if youre Kubica, Bettel, Sutil, Webber, Button, Bourdais and the taller guys you are at a disadvantage to start with, but id like to see the non KERS cars given a 5 or even 10 kg decrease, as im shure that some teams would take that over a KERS system as they would be more competitive.
