FIA has given this championship to Mercedes win by default. They violated the rules as Ferrari did in the past but the italians have been afflicted by a giant penalty, Mercedes has been praised for this behavior. Is that fair? And this happen only because their political influence is overscale. That's not sport at all!
They've passed every test as per the rules. You can't keep screaming cheating or illegal engines or whatever forever.

Well you can, but it's just screaming into the void.
This is my first comment in 2 years, but ok, "i'm keeping screaming".
Despite a fan could defend Mer for what they done, the engine is clearly illegal and FIA give to them a waiver until June, otherwise, if everything were ok they should have change the rules to allow what Mer did. That's the difference and all this happen only for political influence, as everyone know.

if at all, it should be a penalty for Norris instead for unsportsmanship.

What's the point of having washed out former champions being on the grid? They are not going to be competitive anyways. Maybe it's an opportunity for some really exciting young drivers to come and entertain us in their seats. Max had his time and he might get his opportunities again later. The other talented drivers on the grid like George, Charles and Oscar deserves shot in winning machine. I don't see F1 losing any sheen. What's the point of seeing the same driver winning year after year after year. That's boring.

Norris conceded it was not a full push lap. He probably could have claimed otherwise and Antonelli would be penalized.

difficult to claim otherwise when you're dangling down the straight at half speed

Anyone thinking that the data glitch is some nefarious FIA trick to hide the cars slowing down can just look speed chart for Albon's fastest lap.

He has multiple glitches, including one earlier on the straight so his speed chart looks like a bar chart.

Didn't Hamilton win all but 1 of his because his team nailed the regulations?

Ah..I thought it was a worry about who wins the titles.

To be fair Alonso and Hamilton are clinging on anyway. And Max isnt giving up his 70m pa easily.

I know the Mercedes look dominant again after this sprint qualifying but I would still like to see what happens over the course of the whole weekend before jumping to conclusions. Too many people jump on this forum to project so much negativity without any constructive criticism.

There is always a level of intrigue in any aspect of F1:
Is Mercedes gap down to just battery deployment / mapping, noting several teams use the same engines?
Is the Merc better in qualifying or will it have race issues?
Is McLaren better in qualy trim?
Is the Red Bull struggling more here for any reason?
Will the ADUO help other engine teams claw back performance?

for me
almost all of it came from their pu
They use something in qualy but not in race, different manage of electric or something
they start to understand how to use the pu, but lack of downforce, also ferrari could have been in second row, they messed up.
max saids is related to the RB22 and not to PU. Their car eat tires. I think they're lack a bit in power also.
Difficult to say, I think it will not.

Is CL not starting behind LH for the sprint right? But LH is not competitive right? So putting 2 + 2 together, how is CL talented and LH washed up and not competitive but finds him self in front of CL? Its confusing......... Think your being biased.

Max wont win another if he retires from F1, he isnt a Lewis, or an Alonso, he doesnt " love " f1, he just likes racing. He would gladly swap f1 for any other series who will pay him the same money.......... Your kidding you self if you think differently, he has said as much like 1000000000000 times......
