Benetton, Ferrari, Renault: http://www.fota.co/about-fota/james-allison/

I think he would be coming back to Ferrari, it seems as if he has unfinished goals in his life to complete there (this is just my humble opinion).

Edit: Was half asleep when I originally typed it!

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Well, he's not going there from the position he's been in to work under Pat Fry, so make of that what you will.

There's an aero rake in front of the left rear.

News is that Alonso pushed a photopgrapher off some stairs, destroying a 6000 euro camera in the process. Will be looking for a english source later on. News in dutch can be found on hln.be

What truly happened is of course guessing for now. There is a picture where alonso clearly is grabbing martin. Obviously martin must have provoked alonso.

He's lucky Fred left his swords in his other kimono.

To be fair it's part of the job isn't it, if your job is being in people's faces and hoping they do something worth €10K to a picture editor.

Of all the technical directors Mercedes has collected over the last couple of years, they forgot the most important one:

Hirohide Hamashima, Ferrari Tire Director and the former Director of Bridgestone Motorsport. Also MVP of the 2013 Spanish Grand Prix.

Is there some info about Pat Fry? IIRC he was on surgery (appendix vermiformis). I think the cell call right after the race was with him :)

MTV3 said he is expected to return in time for Monaco in two weeks, so I suppose no issues while undergoing such routine operation.

It seems that also ferrari has made a secret test for Pirelli at the beginning of May in Barcelona:
Image
(picture from the autosport forum)
The car used was a 2011 - not 2013 car; it was also operated not by the race team, but by the Group that attends to promotional events (this not making any big difference).
Details in this article by adam cooper, found via @scarbsf1 in twitter:
http://adamcooperf1.com/2013/05/30/ferr ... elli-test/

To me it is surprising how this thing has passed under the radar, compared to all the mess around Mercedes test.
In my opinion, but people knowing more about vehicle dynamics know better, using the 2011 car gives the team a lot of information anyway on the tyres useful for 2013, if you can correlate the energy put in the tyres by a known car to the tyres behaviour.
Does this pre-event test correlate to the excellent Spanish gp performance of ferrari?

Do you think it could be Kamui Koboyashi? , unless of course I'm mistaken! :)
