Charles leclerc……….

The how manyith time is this. Very poor.
Probably a gearbox penalty too.

Charles isn’t what he used to be at qualifying

The sf-23 is a donkey, especially in high downforce configs. their reserve driver after the fp1 rookie session said it's the worst car he has driven

Leclerc is a fast driver but a very expensive one (crashes). But the Ferrari is also uncomfortable to drive.

Treacherous conditions, but still too much errors by LEC. May be he needs to learn not to try to drive on the edge every corner everytime.

Track was bone dry where he went off. He just overcooked the corner.

Might have just been me, but an early quali exit for Hamilton crossed by mind in FP3. He was clearly struggling in the conditions and it carried on that way.
Probably because they were setting up for the dry race. But looking at the sunny skies now they really are regretting just missing out

Thank God Lewis is not fighting for a championship or i would be livid and calling for vowel's head!!

Bonno has been extremely out if sync too. Went too late in Q1 and too early in Q2. Not sure how the race can be recovered from 13th place really. And wishing for rain is a bit pointless, the overtaking seems to be rubbish at this track even in the wet.

VER delivers again when it matters. Well done by ALB, NOR and RUS. PER kept it between the lines but still at another level.

Awesome grid!

Max untouchable as usual. Half a second up.

Perez is an embarrassment now. No excuses about teyre temps with that extra lap he was given.

What is that Williams setup?!

----or-bust for the last lap of qualifying!
Great qually results for MV, LR, GR & AA. A real shame for OP.
That they can just nail it for a single lap after a red flag period is astounding.

Good question. That car needs a closer forum review

I have always thought Albon as a very good driver. In karting he was mega. He can put the car that lacks DF where it doesn’t belong. Very good show. This was another great qualy, albeit Max blasted the rest.

The car is just wonderful at some tracks. And it's fantastic on soft tyres on a green track - when its best results have been recorded (only in quali). Meanwhile James Vowles constantly shits on it and says we have to start from scratch on next year :D  Albon must be the factory's hero

I guess we'll see if they can have decent performance on tyres other than the softs.. in fp2 it looked like it didnt like the mediums or hards again. They might have to 2 or 3 stop if so
