But if you didn't know already, the front wing f-ducts purpose is to stall the wing after a certain pressure is realized. This of course reduces drag and yields a few more kph top speed.

I recall the last Q2 session of the 2011 season where Nico pulled out a stunning lap (+0.5s up) which put the car up with the front runners and then failed to repeat the time in Q3.
