His deleted time was as said above a 1:31.6XX. That's less than two tenths off Vettel and was comfortably ahead of Hulkenberg and Sainz. These are exciting times for McLaren Honda as this was done on a power track. With a few more improvements they could be the 4th best team on the grid.

Yes
I CANNOT wait till we consistently beat Williams.
Sainz has been faster than both Mclarens.
I didn't think Sainz drove for Williams?

I hope the race pace is as good if not better than Austria. In to minds about rain because it could help them but it could also spoil a potentially good result if they get the strategy wrong.

I think TR FI Williams and McHonda all have pretty much equal machinery this race, and it's up to the driver to make the difference, especially with the changing conditions.

And I have to say I've been impressed with Alonso this weekend. He was over shadowed by Button in Austria but Alonso is really leading the way this weekend, shame he had his last time deleted

While Jenson was strong at Austria Alonso never actaully got an opportunity to show what he could do. Let's hope reliability is good all round tomorrow so we can compare.

mclaren running too much downforce, , if it rains it will be fatastic for mclaren , and in dry i still think button will come to the front by overtaking, because his race pace was pretty decent, even better than the williams in stints, cant wait, mclaren need to make the chassis more aero efficient, not just adding downforce . Teams lik TR and redbull never run those monkey wings, they are uncessary drag especially in power circuits.

That spin cost Fernando a couple of points. A mistake I didn't expect from Fernando.

well to be honest, half of the grid spun at that corner but yeah... he was pushing it too much that time around... ah... hope for better luck next race!

Hamilton, Vettel, Raikkonen, Rosberg, Verstapen, .... basically everyone went off at that corner.

What an utterly disappointing race, i thought Mclaren would be ecstatic with the changing conditions, so many opportunities wasted. Expected 2 cars in the top 10 to be honest. and those Williams are so annoying, rubbish in the corners and then runs away on the straight. Ruined the race for both of the Mclarens.

One of the most disappointing F1 races for me.
Never Give up.

That same Sainz said they are better than McLaren in the corners in Monaco.

Wasn't it Copse where Fernando spun? Or turn 1?

That same Sainz said they are better than McLaren in the corners in Monaco.
they were. and probably still are! mcl has problem with slow corner. i cant tell exactly where, but i can see result. so do not expect hungary be strong.
