I didn't think Sainz drove for Williams?Vasconia wrote:Sainz has been faster than both Mclarens.CjC wrote:Yesgodlameroso wrote:Now faster than Toro Rosso and Williams.
I CANNOT wait till we consistently beat Williams.
I hope the race pace is as good if not better than Austria. In to minds about rain because it could help them but it could also spoil a potentially good result if they get the strategy wrong.SameSame wrote:His deleted time was as said above a 1:31.6XX. That's less than two tenths off Vettel and was comfortably ahead of Hulkenberg and Sainz. These are exciting times for McLaren Honda as this was done on a power track. With a few more improvements they could be the 4th best team on the grid.
While Jenson was strong at Austria Alonso never actaully got an opportunity to show what he could do. Let's hope reliability is good all round tomorrow so we can compare.CjC wrote:And I have to say I've been impressed with Alonso this weekend. He was over shadowed by Button in Austria but Alonso is really leading the way this weekend, shame he had his last time deleted

Teams lik TR and redbull never run those monkey wings, they are uncessary drag especially in power circuits.

Hamilton, Vettel, Raikkonen, Rosberg, Verstapen, .... basically everyone went off at that corner.TheGkbrk wrote:That spin cost Fernando a couple of points. A mistake I didn't expect from Fernando.
That same Sainz said they are better than McLaren in the corners in Monaco.Andres125sx wrote:Sainz think differenttechman wrote:mclaren running too much downforce, , if it rains it will be fatastic for mclaren , and in dry i still think button will come to the front by overtaking, because his race pace was pretty decent, even better than the williams in stints, cant wait, mclaren need to make the chassis more aero efficient, not just adding downforce . they were. and probably still are! mcl has problem with slow corner. i cant tell exactly where, but i can see result. so do not expect hungary be strong.BeardedAce wrote:That same Sainz said they are better than McLaren in the corners in Monaco.Andres125sx wrote:Sainz think differenttechman wrote:mclaren running too much downforce, , if it rains it will be fatastic for mclaren , and in dry i still think button will come to the front by overtaking, because his race pace was pretty decent, even better than the williams in stints, cant wait, mclaren need to make the chassis more aero efficient, not just adding downforce .
