Ok guys, updates are in!
My previous rear wing issues were down to this:
3.10.2 When viewed from the side of the car, no longitudinal vertical cross section may have
more than two sections in this area, each of which must be closed.
However I have repositioned the strakes so that when 1 finishes, another starts, meaning at any cross section there is always a closed section linking the main plane to the upper plane. Therefore, technically there are 2 section. This excludes the central 150mm, as stated in the regulations.
I have placed my side impact structure lower, and have reshaped the aerofoil surfaces for better vortex generation underneath the floor. This new positioning hides the upper surfaces from the underneath view, deeming it legal.
