I would say they indeed were conservative, because apart from the sidepod inlet it's actually a very conservative evolution. And I doubt whether Over instead of Underbite will change that.

The nose, sidepod inlet, engine cover are very different and we haven't seen the floor yet. I can't see how this is conservative.
Aerodynamics isn't magic, there are rules and those who understand them fully make these fastest cars on the world. That would be against all rulesvorticism wrote: ↑15 Feb 2024, 22:27In which case, they could have a faucet shaped inlet. See below.

There they are... if the model is correct...
1. visit the page: https://www.redbullracing.com/int-en/cars/rb20/
2. hit F12
3. find the <model-viewer html element (or search for min-camera-orbit=)
4. change its value to min-camera-orbit="auto 124deg 28deg"
5. you can now see under the car

Thats is pretty much the case with every car... and most teams changed even more than Red Bull. So i think its still a conservative evolution indeed.AR3-GP wrote: ↑15 Feb 2024, 22:49The nose, sidepod inlet, engine cover are very different and we haven't seen the floor yet. RB18-> RB19 was conservative.
Are RB still the only team to have the inside of the floor entrance lip lower than the outside?kfrantzios wrote: ↑15 Feb 2024, 22:54Great Job!bfayers wrote: ↑15 Feb 2024, 22:43In the off chance they remove this from the site I've remixed a model-viewer demo on glitch with the RB20 files here: https://rb20-model-viewer.glitch.melevidrugi wrote: ↑15 Feb 2024, 22:23

Actually they look not much smaller than last years on some pics. The true size will only be seen in the tests and I bet that they will actually be similar to those of 2023. Everyone is just boiling water and no one can do magic.
It's interesting that Rb have still hesitated to pursue any waterslide treatment. I suspect that water slides are a big drag penalty.
do you really think RB will show on the 3d the part they want to hide? Stop to think you are more clever than them!kfrantzios wrote: ↑15 Feb 2024, 22:54Great Job!bfayers wrote: ↑15 Feb 2024, 22:43In the off chance they remove this from the site I've remixed a model-viewer demo on glitch with the RB20 files here: https://rb20-model-viewer.glitch.melevidrugi wrote: ↑15 Feb 2024, 22:23
