Least deserving wdc since button in 2009.
Button won most races when his car was the fastest, unlike Norris.

Amazing comeback from Max, very close. Great first half of the season for Piastri but bit of a wobble for the second half, sure he can fight for titles further in his career.
And surely big congrats to Lando, a new world champion.
Now bring on the new regs.

His brain fade in Spain with Russell and the penalty he received cost him more.

Congrats to Norris. But that was way too close for comfort. I’m gonna say that McLaren stopped developing the car too early, similar to what Merc did in 21 and cost Hamilton the wdc. Credit to max and Redbull as they never gave up hope and got the car in a place where it was sometimes faster or as fast as the McLaren. Not sure what happened to piastri between zanvoort and Las Vegas but he seemed to have lost the plot only to reemerge in the last two Grand Prix. Very strange . This was an important title because it’s very possible the top 3 drivers in this years championship may not get another sniff at a title for a while. Overall it was a good f1 season. Unfortunately Mercedes and Ferrari dropped the ball too much otherwise it would have been an epic season.

Yeah. Was a good season. Will rank as memorable.

RedBull is still the best operational unit by a long shot. I'm a amazed how somehow they were the fastest car in the last four or five races. But credit due to Max and the RB team showing how to captialize on a championship winning mentality. Keep pushing till the last. Never ease up!

It is quite fitting that red mist in Spain cost Max his fifth title.

I would hope a driver as smart as Max will reflect on that fact. He is celebrated for ‘bending the rulebook’ but people seem to forget quite how often it backfires.
