If this is true, it shows how out of touch and pathetic Wolff is. You think waving money at the kid is gonna solve things??

I think it's time for Wolff to move on, though I'm sure the PU division will save his ass next year
Like I said, Toto has completely lost the plot. I honestly think the fame and celebrity status have gotten to his head, it’s full of it. And it doesn’t help when everyone around him keeps telling him what a hot piece of cake he is. He’s flying too close to the sun, and when you do… you get burned. If he’s not careful, he’s going to end up like Horner. That’s what happens when your ego takes over everything.

And now his wet dream of getting Verstappen is gone as he's staying with Red Bull for 26. Back to grovelling over George.

Would be funny if George double crossed him and signed with Aston

Btw James Allison literally knew that bringing in Kimi this year was too early as documented in "the seat". Maybe he should take the reigns as TP

Without Nikki's present, Toto's now surrounded by YESMEN. They lost a ton of talent like: Andy Cowell, James Vowels, Mike Elliot, Serra, Blandin, Hodgkinson...

I'm not confident for 26's onward. They need a huge team revamp. They need a 2012 -> 2021 dream team V2 again. Lets Make Mercedes Great Again: #MMGA

From @MercedesAMGPCF1 on X

🚨 George 🗣️ : “We’re going to have a meeting[This week] with all the engineers and design engineers to figure out how we’ve gone backwards()…”

“Kimi and I are collectively making more mistakes because the car is more challenging to drive.”

“We need to sit down as a team. As I say, it may be as simple as reversing back on some of the changes we've made, but in F1 it's never that simple.”

So George basically is indicating, that an emergency meeting is being held at Mercedes, for not only the team, but the manufacturer. This was desperately needed since 2023. There is going to be some massive rearranging, and some engineers jobs are on the line.

The great news is that it can only be better in Hungary !

Hard to do worst than the results this weekend  we had absolutely no pace, hard car to drive & both set ups were so slow!! (on the wet and on the dry tarmac #-o pathetic really)

Witnessing those gaps in real life was heart breaking as a Merc fan. Merc needs new blood in the technical department.

Without the "pressure of lewis" the team sure are doing well... NOT!

Seriously, people who thought the team would do better without lewis pressuring them with his expectations are insane.

Sadly, their aero team will be bailed out with a monster PU courtesy of Mercedes HPP. George deserves a shot at the title

They've certainly never gotten on top of these new regs, but they still have so much of the 'blood' from their dominating years that they have the potential to come roaring back in 2026 with less ground effect and new engines. As a Ferrari fan, they scare me as much as Mclaren.
