RB isn’t doing any assassination. Just chill and wait for more information
.
"RB isn’t doing any assassination." ?? Yes they did! They leaked inside info to the press.

As @arcanum said: " Normally these processes are highly confidential to protect everyone involved.
It's particularly unfair to the person who raised the grievance, if it is genuine, because of fears of how it will impact
their employment in the company and the industry."
Maybe Horner's bosses decided he is no longer worth what they paid to keep him. Maybe Horner's contract gets nullified if he is fired for justifiable reasons!

Wonder if Horner is found to be innocent, then he can raise a case against RB or whoever leaked it. Be a bit silly, but if it’s hurt your reputation for something you never did. Well within his rights

depends if he can find out who leaked it. He would have to get the reporters to give up their sources, and that can be a very hard thing to do, at least here in the states.

I’m not even going to believe any of this until RBR confirm in a statement.

Seems to be too many angles, stories and jorno’s wanting to make a few quid fabricating stuff
RBR has, in fact, confirmed that this situation is very real. They released an official statement on Monday, February 5, acknowledging what has been reported and confirming that an independent investigation is underway.

The energy drinks company said that an external barrister had been appointed to probe the complaints, as it emphasised it was taking the matter seriously.

...

A statement issued by the Red Bull company on Monday said: "After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation.

"This process, which is already under way, is being carried out by an external specialist barrister.

"The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time."

Do we know that the organisation planned the leaks and not just some people inside RB that know a journalist, some of which are involved in the politics against the side of Christian?

I honestly feel like there are still a ton of assumptions being made, including just how accurate some of the reporting is. I don't think RB would do anything to harm the rep of their team, it's way too valuable to them. If Christian isn't found guilty and stays then these leaks will tarnish his and the teams reputation.

They already paid tons to keep him at the team just recently so if they want him gone, it's a quick change of heart. They could be patient for a few more and do a "Gunther" on him if they want him gone without a fuss. So it feels like either the reporting is wrong or he must be a dead man standing already and this is just preparing the fans.

I have a feeling that this isn't going to end in the drama that some or sniffing around for.

It's a statement by RB that says there are no direct allegations reported to them: "After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation." . They have been made aware of allegations, but it is not said the allegations were reported to them (unless I a misunderstanding as I am not a native English speaker). So now I am wondering if any official complaints or allegations have been made?

It depends, who made the above statement?
The complaints went to Redbull Gmbh, not redbull racing.

What are the chances of the person making complaint going to GmbH en not RBR?
Seems they had no faith in RBR to investigate or possible they didn't do investigations at all.
What for me is sticking out is why getting outside legal is needed.
F1 teams have high end legal people.
Toolworks near me in Bilzen has 25 staff and 2 legals for contracts and employment.
Was the barrister needed for profile of case or because GmbH had no faith in RBR to do this properly?

Quite high, when the complaint is against the top boss at RBR.

Surely if they can’t decide what to do at the top, just sell the team.
Indeed. But what if the ownership of Red Bull GmbH is deadlocked on the issue? If this pure speculation is the case, then one way foreword for the faction wanting to sell RBR would be to reduce RBRs value (to Red Bull GmbH) by concocting the current corporate shenanigans. This would reduce the value of RBR to its current owners, but not its value to any potential buyer, as the slate (with or without Horner – depending) gets wiped clean, a la Force India.

Wouldn't selling to a manufacturer now be tricky with the Ford deal.

Ford doesn't have any infrastructure invested. It's only a paper deal so quite easy to extricate with $. If another manufacturer wanted to buy RB, then they should be prepared to front the cost to get rid of Ford or see out the end of the deal and then terminate.
