Ferrari F10

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

I think you'll find that Peter Windsor and Ken anderson would agree with your assessment of Rossi, and in the hope of getting a head start on the next BIG technology, they looked very closely at the bread slicing machine, and decided a method of toasting this product was going to give them the big performance leap required by USF1 for 2010......

Surely they'll be unfairly testing various engine mapping modes for safety car periods..

(i'm beginning to understand the fun in this for Islam now..)

And as if my magic:
James Allen wrote: ...The F2008 car has more or less the same engine as this years 2010 car, due to the engine freeze in F1. The question many people will be asking is whether they are able to get any technical benefit from running this test, for example to test something out in the engine.

The answer I’ve gleaned from talking to F1 engineers from other teams is that there is little benefit that can be derived from this test which they could not derive from testing on the dyno in the factory...

All they need to do is put more miles on the engine to see if it will hold together in 2010 spec... these tests are helping them get a headstart on the field.

I would have loved to see Schumacher/Rossi for Ferrari in 2007/2008/2009. But the doctor did not do so bad as a rider either. You have to love the guy for his cocky spirit.

Please, cut it out, flyn, Islam.

Islam, allow me to single you out. Here comes the nagging:

It would be nice if you didn't see evil in Ferrari at every step of the way, they are just another competitor. It would be also nice if you could refrain somehow from using the very same argument in every Ferrari thread: "you're a tifosi, so you are biased", specially with guys that don't give a damn about Ferrari, as I think Flynfrog does. Flyn, allow me to say also that Islam is not a fanboy: a fanboy (in my definition) is someone that blindly supports a team.

Frankly, it is becoming kind of boring, dear Islamatron. We all know you think Ferrari cheats and they are bad, we got it already (as if the other teams were made of angels, but hey, got this straight: that's not the problem. The problem is the many tifosi you see around!).

Before you also accuse me of being a tifosi, let all know that I don't support any team. However, someone bashing a team or a driver, in a sarcastic and intelligent way, is entertaining, but becoming obsessed with a team or a driver is truly boring for the rest of the forum.

Very sane and, as humanly posible, equanimous people had told you this very same thing one thousand times, allow me to join the chorus: I wouldn't be joining if I didn't know already that every time the thread degenerates into bad mood in every soul in sight and, over all, arguments between you and other members, that, to put it gently, are really tired of hearing the same thing over and over. I swear we got it, man: you don't like Ferrari. You've made your point, thanks for your opinion, it's already noted.

This I try to say in a way as kind as I can. Sincerely, thanks for any effort you can do, in advance. I also beg you to hold any further arguments about who's fault it is in a PM. Before you write it (if you do), please take in account that, in my opinion you have had the same argument with different people, while nobody that I know had had this argument repeatedly with you: this is a very good clue, if you ask me.

I say to some friends (as a joke) that I'm the only normal person that I know, but I don't take this joke as a serious argument: it seems to me that you're starting to seriously believe it... ;)

If I can recommend something to everybody here, please, use humour instead of pondering about the intelligence of fellow members. Pretty please.

Don't those belong in the F60 thread?

Edit: I hope the new livery on the F60 isn't the final version that will appear on the 2010 car and the explanation is that Ferrari prostituted it for a Santander ad.

I have no idea. I won't object to them being moved by someone with such authority.

[quote="Ciro Pabón"]...[quote]

I hate cheaters, Ferrari just happens to be not only the biggest cheater in F1, but also the one who gets penalised the least.

I could not care less who is bored of hearing what, if they dont like what I have to say they can ignore what I say, just as I have to ignore the eurocentric and sometimes downright racist views of xpensive and conceptual and many others like them.

As you see, I responded to worthy arguements with respect and counter arguements... I did not attack anyone(unless attacked first) and should not be attacked for my own opinions regarding the legality of what any team is doing.

I do not care how mant Tifosi there are, everyone is entitled to support whatever team or driver they wish, but regardless of how many there are I will voice my opinion in what I believe to be an open forum for discussion.

Most of my Ferrari cheating posts are jokes, but the sensitive and eccentric nature of Ferrari fanboys(yes the ones who have all types of Ferrari crap in their avatars and sigs) dont allow them to see anything other then red. You know the types that think Hamilton ran into the back of Kimi on purpose, or that Glock let Hamilton by to win the WDC.

Roll out the cars already so we can have better things to argue about.
