did they scavange an old pre 2006 v-10 or is it a new engine?

Good chance they are using the A1 GP engines, they are nice and cheap in comparison to the low milage F1 engines of back then, plus with the series folding before it fully went underway, probably still a good supply left in the Ferrari Cliente department.

Was just looking at this on Youtube. I did not realise how close to entering F1 Porsche had been with their V4 engine.
