Alonso had a yellow S2 in SQ3. Small mistake? Overheated tires? S3 was green, but there's a long straight to cool tires into it.

Are Aston Martin problems caused by the Mercedes parts and wind tunnel? When are they going to use their new wind tunnel?
Mclaren doesn't have any problem with rear by not using Mercedes parts and good correlation thanks to their own wt

only Stroll, 7 lap old. Alonso didn't even use softs in practice, so new softs was the only available option for him.

According to the AmuS article, the feeling on the used softs was closer to the mediums before. So the used tire wasn't quicker, but easier to get into the right window.
