So Ferrari 2017 engines for Sauber in 2018? Better than taking a gamble on Honda. But Honda really do need a 2nd team. The losers are McLaren Honda.
Why are the losers McLaren?

The assumption is that development with 2 teams is faster than with 1. Could be right.

I hope it is. It would be very interesting for Honda to have two teams(If McLaren stays with them of course).

Honda denies this story about them cancelling the contract with Sauber http://members.f1-life.net/report/55974/

There is no fact that Honda has offered to cancel the contract.

The trouble is that it looks as though Sauber and Honda may not have actually signed anything and had just come to an initial agreement.

Or the opposite. Vasseur and Renault hardly parted on good terms.

So apparently Vasseur wants to get out of the Honda Deal asap because the things he hears from McLaren about the PU are 'frightening'.
