When I saw Gasly coming in quite early (lap 20) I thought, wow isn't that a bit too early? Man what was I wrong....
Very good for Honda as well, they chose the right race mode to keep the McL behind.

They kind of need to find out if Gasly is good enough in the top team or not, so they can decide on whether they need Hulkenberg or Vettel at Red Bull or not. Furthermore, they will be able to compare Albon and Tsunoda to see who is better of those two (poor old Kvyat ).

really tough luck for Kvyat indeed, if they hadn't pitted him under the Safety Car, he probably could have finished on the podium as well - sure, that applies for almost everyone, but running hard tires, for Kvyat it would have made sense anyway, no matter the red flag. Kvyat even asked "are you sure?" when they called him in...

But still, chapeau to Gasly. He needed a lot of luck to end up in that position, but finished it off perfectly.

What's the point of that? RB made it possible for him to drive F1, he had a bad experience with the main team but they didn't gave up on him and made this win possible for him. Great drive and really happy for him.

I think Red Bull shouldn't reshuffle the drivers this year. The RB16 isn't a car to just jump into. But for next year, they should consider who is actually doing the best job.

RB16 is quicker, by some margin. Perhaps with this circuit as an outlier allthough I even doubt that. Justbgoid that SAT Is doing well, hopefully they can keep it up.
