So, do we think Sainz moves and, if so, where to?
Who would want him? He doesn't have topline pace, poor in the wet and that entourage of his likes to meddle.
He's not in a topline car, I've never seen any suggestion he's bad in the wet and what entourage?

I consume a LOT of F1 content and this comment sounds completely out of nowhere to me.
Yes. Sainz sucks in the wet.

Audi will have him but not until Hulk retires, gets washed or Bortelleto leaves..

I don't see much movement for next year unless Verstappen decides to go do something else and he's not going anywhere else in F1, either.

Sainz is stuck at Williams unless someone at Audi decides to leave. I don't think Audi would cut one of them to bring in Sainz.

I bet Alonso sticks it out at least one more year after Aston proving they can now bring upgrades that perform as expected.

Is Alonso the best available choice though? Particularly now the vibes look a little brighter long term, is there appeal in finding someone the team could actually build around for the next couple seasons / may be more quicker than Fernando is?

I guess there might be some appeal internally to just leave the dynamic as is.

I'm tired of the narrative that teams need to be built around someone. They just need to build a good car and any good driver will wing.
If anyone should be let go it's Stroll, he never showed anything that would classify him in the "good" category.

I see SAINZ to Aston next to Fernando in 2027, and Lance taking a year-off/reserve driver, then its STR/SAI for 2028.

Newey and Honda are finally settling into the team and starting to make progress. Suddenly Lance says, "Nah, I'm taking a year off." No way. Lance is going to hold that chair like Lewis Kim's buttocks.

Besides, Aston Martin needs a bigger name than Sainz, who in recent years has been beaten by Leclerc and Albon. Lawrence isn't interested.

The way things seem for AM (outside f1), it may well become a political decision to bring in someone like Herta to aid sales.

Sainz is gone from F1 in 2027. He is here because of his father's reputation in motor sports. without his father he does not have any his own identity as sports person.

that said, I would bet, AMR keep this line up for 2027 without any change and wait for either Max or Hamilton but I would guarantee, Max to AMR in 2028....

If Hamilton joins AMR in 2028, then Max will go to Ferrari.

2027 100% no change in driver @ AMR.

Please note: AMR always go for WDC driver in their line up.

There'll become serious cash on offer for Antonelli IF he wins the championship this year.

At Ferrari.

An almost unresistable pull for all of those in control of him and the Scuderia.

Sainz will drive shitbox-Williams as long as he is allowed, if nobody else wants him. Vowles is so in love with him right now, so I can't see their paths separating.

Why all the hatred for Sainz all of a sudden? And since when was Reddit of all places a valid source of anything!!??

I am not a hater but I don't see him without his Dad's influence. Without his Dad, he is gone long back and there are lots of other talent waiting on pool to prove them self.

I Even say, Stroll, Albon, Ocon, Sainz....blocking other talent in the sports.

this is my thought and it is not written or created from any AI tools.

Antonelli doesn't seem to be mesmerized by Ferrari like Leclerc is. He would probably want to stay with the winning team.

Oooh, I agree with you in that statement right now.

If current Ferrari drivers and team fail to win a championship in next year etc, then that pressure will rise exponentially on Antonelli, especially if he wins WDC this year.

Ironically its likely Antonelli (in very broad terms) thats going to deprive Ferrari this year, it looks like, on current form and projected to this year's end.
