Here's something for the stats. According to Newey Red Bull was the fastest car. So I will take Newey's words over some useless stats. And trust me even if Mercedes was minuscule faster that doesn't explain why Max screwed up a 45 point lead in just 3 races.
Newey said he built the fastest car even if the stats show the contrary and Perez was soundly beaten by Bottas? Maybe he likes giving himself a lot of credits.
Mercedes was the fastest car by a big margin at the end of the season, but none of that would have mattered if Hamilton did not sent Max to the hospital in Silverstone and if the Pirelli tire did not explode in Baku in a straight line. Abu Dhabi crowned the rightful champion.
