The packaging looks similar to last year which is no surprise but I wonder what's that black thing around the intake plenum area (with the three temperature stickers) RS.18 didnt have that and it doesnt look like the usual streamlined internal bodywork that many cars have, it looks thicker. It looks like a flat tank or or a flat air duct...

Dunno what advantage they bring (higher vortices?) but Renault used them last year for the whole season AFAIK.
And the solution isnt new to them; with RBR they used them and ditched them several times since 2010 : P

My guess is that the straighter element creates less drag and downforce.

From last of top teams to deep midfield. Is better you retire from chassis builder and keep focus on engine for MC Laren with a good alliance with them

Hulk had engine issues, otherwise it would be around 6th place for sure.

The midfield is so incredibly close, it hardly means anything.
