1. Merc (They stopped developing their car very early in 2020 to get a head start in 2021)
2. RBR (Developed through 2020 plus winter upgrades)
.
3. McLaren (Merc engine, Drivers, won 3rd place in 2020 due to consistent racing operations)
4. Aston Martin (still too similar to the Merc, but not so good racing operations comparing to McLaren)
5. Ferrari (maybe faster than Aston Martin, but they will surely mess smth up)
6. Alpine (mainly due to Alonso)
7. Alpha Tauri (cant see a way they could beat the ones above)

8. Alfa Romeo
9. Williams
10 Haas

Which also means it's a tight race between Haas Williams and Alfa.
I don't think it is. I think Alfa Romeo is about half a second faster than Williams, who in turn are half a second faster than Haas. Just my estimate of course, but I think there is a clear order among those teams.
I see Nikita and Mick colliding just because they are bored of being the last ones. #-o

I can see Mazepin being involved in a few 'scrapes' this season, to be honest. I worry that he treats this whole thing like a laugh and a hobby rather than something deadly serious, which could be really dangerous sooner or later.

Let´s think I believe Mercedes have some issues, not big gones but some(I make the effor, seriously):

1. RB
2. Mercedes, very, very close.
3. Ferrari (much better PU, more balanced car and two fantastic drivers)
3. Mclaren( they look very strong), Aston Martin (not an impressive test but they have all the elements to be competitive)
4. Alp.Tauri( the car looks good)
5. Alfa Romeo(improved car in general terms)
6. Williams.
7. Hass(no development, almost the same car)

I have some serious doubts about Ferrari, Mclaren and Aston Martin, the pecking orderhere is very uncertain.

My brain says Mercedes will be fastest, buy my heart really wants to believe this time things could change.

I do hope Mick could have a better car, but being the last ones should give him time to develop and learn, he needs to beat Mazepin, though.

He is very, very aggressive so I wouldn´t be surprise if it happens. I see him having some issues with blue flags.

Exactly that sort of thing! There feels like an attitude thing of 'I'm playing the ultimate video game' which could be dangerous. There's the vibe of that reckless rich teenager who is used to doing things and never having to deal with any consequences and having someone else clean up their mess all the time. You know someone like Stroll jr at least took it deadly serious when he came into the sport.

Mazepin laughing over the radio when Hamilton span was a red flag personality wise for me. I didn't see it much either, but taking the first corner the same time as Verstappen when the latter was on a flying lap didn't seem very responsible- it might have been unavoidable so I could be doing him an injustice, but it didn't look good.

When someone like that gets bored or wants to have 'fun', it could lead to bad things.

Keeping in mind that we have B version of 2020:

Mercedes... but with no ease and a difficult start of season
Red Bull very close (Maybe Max could win the WDC)
McLaren, with I hope a victory for RIC

Then... it will depend of reliability and mistakes
Ferrari / Aston Martin / Alpine / Alfa Tauri all seem very close

It will be interesting if he decides to play around near the title contenders. No friends will be made if he takes out someone he shouldn't be fighting with in the first place. Yes, you're allowed to unlap yourself but don't put the leaders at risk whilst you do it. The likes of Hamilton and Verstappen (now he's learned his lesson from Ocon) will likely stay out of the way, but doing it like Sainz doing what he did to Kimi in testing? That's going to end badly.

One thing I would suggest, is that anyone who really fancies Red Bull to win it all this season and take a clean sweep- if you're a betting person- is to lump on before the season starts. The bookies are still offering some great odds on Red Bull/Verstappen after the test and very lean odds on Mercedes.

Just had a look at one bookie and they are offering better odds on Russell winning the title than Perez! I guess they don't expect Perez to be able / to be allowed to win the title.

That's probably because he would go straight to Merc if anything were to happen to Lewis or Bottas.
Felipe Baby!
